A fantastic novel by SD Hayes - full of exciting and hilarious twists and turns from beginning to end. I love how it feels like the author is guiding the reader, so all you have to do is sit back and enjoy the ride. The characters really come to life, in spite of most of them being penguins and I found myself becoming more and more engrossed as the story went on. A truly brilliant comedy/adventure that I would thoroughly recommend.

I liked this book. It reminded me of another favorite, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. A whimsical tale that kept me guessing, I look forward to more.

Flipping Heck is a very original, funny tale that will shoot to the top of your 'never read a book like this!' list. In this character driven novel, the author is an active participant and that brings the reader along for the ride. Very well written. An excellent read!
