It's not easy telling penguins apart.
If you have just nodded at that statement, then you either work in animal welfare, or have a curious hobby.
So, to help make the transition into the world of plutonium seeking penguins easier, here is a short run-down of your central non-human characters.
Sevac: Leader of the nine adventurers. Dependable, resourceful, no-nonsense. Kind of a scout-leader, just with flippers.
Torac: Sevac's deputy and equally no-nonsense. Cross him at your peril as genetically enlarged or not, having Torac launched at you would hurt.
Henec: Think of any celebrity chef, add flippers and the opportunity to not have to cook wish fish for the first time in ages.
Senik: A walking bundle of nerves for whom every day is a challenge.
Perec: A joker with a liking for wildlife supplements and plenty of partying. Stick a penguin in the centre of London and tell him not to move - Perec would be the first to disobey. Again, if you have attempted this... seek help!
Elyd: A homesick penguin who spends most of his time in a chest freezer. When he isn't caring for a very special object of course.
Norgid: A penguin with just a slight liking for food. Any food. All food. As much of it as he can get. A rolling roadblock of a fat penguin.
Dara & Nela: Penguin sisters, twins and all round party-animals. Also the youngest members of the group. With a very worrying fascination for Mafia-related films.
And there you have them... nine penguins currently taking up their opening positions in Don's lounge ready for you to join their journey.
